West Virginia, the mountain state, is a place of physical beauty, essential resources and conventional culture. There are numerous museums and galleries where nurses can spend time. Some of those are West Virginia State Cultural Center, The Art Museum of The University of West Virginia, Birke Art Gallery, Monongalia Arts Center and The West Virginia Museum of American Glass. Other places to explore are The Native American burial grounds, Prickett’s Fort State Park, George Washington’s bathtub, a warm spring’s pool in the Berkeley Springs State Park. There are eighteen Civil War Discovery Trail stops, Harper’s Ferry, and The Doughboy Monument, a tribute to WWI foot soldiers. Outdoor adventures include snowboarding, skiing, white water rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing, and fly fishing for trout and deer and wild turkey hunting.
